Our experienced therapists work with individuals to create a custom-tailored program that meets the unique needs of the client. The Kearney Therapeutic Horseback Riding Program serves adults and children of all ages.
Depending on the needs of the clients, the program provides both individual and group riding sessions. Sessions last from 30-minutes to 1-hour based upon the clients' needs and abilities; the number of sessions per week varies based on the individual treatment plan.
Clients who meet eligibility requirements are strongly encouraged to participate in the Nebraska Special Olympics Equestrian show.
In addition to specializing in therapeutic riding for individuals seeking specific physical, social and emotional gains, KTHRP also offers general horseback riding lessons to all individuals seeking the benefits and enjoyment available through horseback riding.
